A great year, great tracks, and an ideal place to start.
1982 the year that gave us – Save Your Love by Renee & Renato with the Christmas No.1 Come on Eileen – Dexy’s Midnight Runners was the biggest selling single of the year.
In the news, the Falklands War broke out after Argentina invaded the British overseas territory, and the Lebanon War also began. Major events in the US included the launch of USA Today and AT&T’s break-up, while Canada achieved full constitutional sovereignty. In entertainment, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial was a hit movie, Jane Fonda’s workout video debuted, and the first issue of USA Today was published.
